It is very similar to being examined in the Outpatients Clinic. Anaesthetic drops will be instilled
into your eye. A special lens is placed over the front of the eye. A bright light will be shone onto
the eye, followed by a series of flashes and clicks. The treatment is pain-free, but can sometimes cause an unusual sensation.
